A Kuwaiti citizen was fined KD 2,000 by the Misdemeanor Court for insulting a doctor at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. The citizen faced charges from the Public Prosecution for insulting the victim, an emergency doctor at the hospital. The altercation took place when the citizen forcibly took the stethoscope from around the doctor's neck. Attorney Elaf Al-Saleh, representing the Kuwait Medical Society, has pledged to continue pursuing such cases and seeking compensation for any harm caused.
