Al-Ajiri Scientific Center said that the skies of Kuwait and the Arab world will witness an astronomical phenomenon represented by the conjunction of the moon with the giant star Antares Antares, which is known to be the brightest star in Scorpio. It is red and also called Al-Ahimar and is ten times more massive than the sun.
The center added in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday that the conjunction can be monitored in the Kuwaiti sky the day after tomorrow, Saturday, and can be seen with the naked eye towards the east at night.
