The Traffic Sector is set to deploy 150 traffic patrol units, 100 rescue patrol units, and 26 motorcycles to oversee traffic flow at the onset of the school year. Additionally, helicopters will be utilized to monitor and address traffic congestion. Colonel Fahd Al-Essa, the Director of the Traffic Awareness Department, indicated that arrangements have been made to position patrols at various strategic locations, including highways and major intersections.

The traffic department is also collaborating with schools that experience high student density and traffic congestion to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during school hours. He advised parents and drivers to depart early to mitigate congestion and to refrain from reckless driving and speeding. Furthermore, the Ministry of Education has allocated 1,500 buses for student transportation, which is expected to significantly alleviate vehicle congestion at certain schools.
