The security authorities carried out an expanded security campaign in the Jabriya area under the direct supervision of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, with the participation of the General Directorate of Traffic, the General Directorate of Rescue Police, and the Public Security Sector, with the support of the Special Security Forces. The campaign included closing all entrances and exits to the Jabriya area, while setting up checkpoints to arrest violators.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of 800 traffic violations, the arrest of 4 people in possession of narcotic drugs, the seizure of 18 vehicles and bicycles, and the arrest of 11 people wanted in connection with arrest and absenteeism cases, 4 wanted vehicles, in addition to two people violating the residency law, and the referral of 9 people to the traffic police.
