This operation was conducted under the direct orders of Major General Hamid Al-Dawas, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Criminal Security Affairs. According to a security source who spoke to Al-Jarida, a citizen reported to the Saad Al-Abdullah police station several days prior, stating that he witnessed an individual disposing of blood-stained clothing in a garbage container.
