Kuwait Airways B777 Sustains Damage Following Collapse of Boarding Bridge at Dhaka Airport

A Boeing 777-300ER operated by Kuwait Airways incurred damage following the collapse of a boarding bridge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on 6 November 2024. The aircraft, which was operating flight KU283, had arrived in Dhaka after completing a scheduled route from Kuwait. After the passengers had disembarked and the aircraft was stationed at the gate, the air bridge connected to the aircraft unexpectedly fell, resulting in damage to the L1 exit door of the plane.
