Kuwait Authorities Arrest Group for Public Morals Violation

Kuwaiti security forces have arrested multiple individuals for violating public morals in a widely circulated video. The General Department of Criminal Investigation, in a joint operation, identified and apprehended the owner of a social media account that posted the clip, which showed a group from the Indian community engaging in what authorities deemed inappropriate behavior, including imitating women.

All persons appearing in the video filmed at an Al-Mutlaa camp have been arrested. The Ministry of Interior stated the actions harmed societal values and broke national laws, confirming that necessary legal measures have been taken. Officials reiterated their ongoing monitoring of social media for such violations to uphold community values and security.
