Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Child Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila attended the event and highlighted that the occasion renews citizens’ loyalty and love for the country while reflecting the nation’s strong unity.

The minister said the moment also honors the sacrifices of ancestors and martyrs who gave their lives to protect Kuwait’s pride and sovereignty. The national flag flying high symbolizes the people’s identity and deep connection to their homeland.

She extended National Day greetings to the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the people of Kuwait.

Ahead of National Day on February 25 and Liberation Day on February 26, government offices, parks, and buildings across the country have already been decorated with festive lights. Prayers were also offered for Kuwait’s continued security, stability, and progress.
