Kuwait City: Seven enemy drones targeted Kuwait early Saturday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that it successfully shot down and destroyed three of them. The remaining drones posed a limited threat. Two of them fell outside the threat zone, causing no casualties, while the other two were targeting Ahmed Al-Jaber Airbase, the ministry’s official spokesman, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, said.
The ministry said that some property damage occurred in areas near the airbase in the incident. Three Kuwaiti soldiers were slightly injured during the incident, and were given the necessary treatment. Officials said that their health is stable. The ministry stated that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain fully prepared to protect the country’s security and sovereignty.
