Kuwait Launches Digital Healthcare System for Medicine Delivery

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has introduced advanced digital solutions to enhance healthcare services, allowing patients to access medicines more conveniently without visiting hospitals.

The new system is designed especially for patients with chronic illnesses and elderly residents, enabling them to request medicines and medical supplies online and receive them from nearby health centres.

The smart system has already been successfully implemented in several major hospitals. It uses advanced devices and software to ensure accurate and efficient distribution of medications while saving patients’ time.

Patients can submit requests through the ministry’s official website, with the entire process, from application to delivery, being digitally monitored to minimise errors.

Officials said the initiative aims to provide a more comfortable and accessible healthcare experience, particularly for elderly individuals and those with mobility challenges, reducing the need to visit crowded medical facilities.
