Bahrain receives over 113,000 emergency calls amid conflict

Authorities in Manama reported that more than 113,000 calls were received on the 999 emergency hotline following recent tensions linked to Iranian attacks.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that police, civil defence, and ambulance teams remain fully prepared to handle any emergency situations. Officials stated that response teams were able to address each call promptly and provide necessary guidance to the public.

Through the main operations room, authorities are continuously monitoring the situation in real time and coordinating efforts with security personnel to ensure smooth handling of incidents.

Officials added that the high level of responsiveness helped ease public concerns, emphasising that all systems remain operational around the clock to safeguard residents and maintain stability.
