Authorities in Saudi Arabia have issued a weather alert warning of strong winds and dust storms across much of the Kingdom through Saturday. The advisory was released by the National Center for Meteorology based on data from the Saudi Numerical Weather Model.
According to the forecast, regions including Tabuk, Medina, Mecca, and Jizan are expected to experience intense dust storms during daytime hours. Coastal areas may also face high waves due to strong winds.
By Saturday, the weather conditions are expected to extend to northern regions such as Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, and Hail. Meanwhile, moderate winds are likely in parts of Qassim, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Najran.
The meteorological center also shared an animated map illustrating the movement and intensity of dust storms and wave activity during the forecast period, urging residents to take precautions.
