KUWAIT CITY: Kerala Press Club Kuwait has elected its new office bearers for the upcoming term. T.V. Hikmath of Kairali TV was elected President, Anil P. Alex of Mangalam as General Secretary, and Abdul Razak Kumaranelloor of Sathyam Online as Treasurer.
The new committee was elected during the annual general body meeting held at Chef Naushad Restaurant in Farwaniya on Sunday. Representatives from various media organizations were also included in the executive committee.
The meeting paid tribute to former Kuwait-based journalist Victor Joseph, who recently passed away.
The general body meeting, chaired by outgoing President Sujith Sureshan, reviewed and approved the annual activity and financial reports presented by General Secretary Saleem Kottayil and Treasurer Sreejith respectively. Several executive committee members and media representatives attended the discussion session that followed.
