Record-Breaking Lego Hypercar Doubles Previous Speed Mark

Goodwood, UK: A life-size Lego replica of the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear has officially become the world’s fastest drivable Lego car after reaching 111 kmph at the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit.

Created through a collaboration between LEGO and Koenigsegg, the full-size model is built primarily from Lego Technic components and is capable of being driven on a real road course.

The record-breaking run was completed by Markus Lundh, who also drove the real Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear during its record-setting hillclimb performance at Goodwood last year.

The achievement more than doubled the previous Lego vehicle speed record, which was held by a Lego-built McLaren P1 that reached approximately 50 kmph.

Unlike previous Lego automotive projects inspired by brands such as Ferrari or Lamborghini, the new record-holder is based on the ultra-exclusive Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear hypercar. The project highlights how Lego engineering and design have evolved, combining creativity with real-world automotive technology.
