DR Congo Reports 2,073 Confirmed Ebola Infections

Kinshasa: The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has reported a further rise in its Ebola outbreak, with the number of confirmed cases reaching 2,073, including 796 deaths, as of July 14, according to the country’s latest official update.

The revised figures highlight the continued spread of the outbreak, which has placed significant pressure on the country’s healthcare system. Health authorities are continuing surveillance, case management and response measures to contain the virus and prevent further transmission.

The outbreak remains one of the most serious public health challenges facing the country, with authorities and international health partners closely monitoring the evolving situation.
