Toyota has released the first official teaser of the next-generation Hilux, confirming that the updated pickup truck will make its global debut on July 28, 2026. The new model will continue to be based on Toyota’s rugged body-on-frame IMV platform, while receiving significant updates to its styling and features.
The teaser showcases the pickup in a striking orange-bronze finish with a redesigned front fascia featuring a silver skid plate, honeycomb-pattern grille, bold TOYOTA lettering, and sleek LED headlamps. Other exterior highlights include black alloy wheels, wheel arch cladding, roll bars, and a shark-fin antenna, giving the Hilux a more aggressive appearance.
Although Toyota has not revealed the rear design, the global version is expected to feature large TOYOTA lettering on the tailgate, vertical LED tail-lamps, and an integrated rear bumper step for easier access to the cargo bed.
Inside, the India-spec cabin is yet to be unveiled, but the global model is expected to continue in Double Cab form. It will feature a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual 12.3-inch displays, and a fully digital, customisable instrument cluster with multiple display themes, offering a more modern and premium driving experience.
