Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Meteorology Department has forecast extremely hot weather across the country on Friday, with temperatures expected to reach a maximum of 48°C.
According to the department, conditions will be hot and humid, particularly in coastal areas, while northwesterly winds are expected to gradually shift to light to moderate southeasterly winds at speeds ranging from 8 to 30 km/h.
During the night, the weather is expected to remain hot to warm and humid, especially along the coast. Winds will become northeasterly to variable, blowing at 8 to 32 km/h.
The minimum temperature is forecast to be around 31°C, offering little relief from the daytime heat.
Authorities have advised residents to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak afternoon hours, stay well hydrated and follow official weather updates as the intense summer conditions continue.
