Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Minister of Defence, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, received the ambassadors of Turkey and India in separate meetings, with discussions focusing on bilateral relations and cooperation.
The Defence Minister first received Turkish Ambassador Tuba Nur Sonmez on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic tenure in Kuwait.
Sheikh Abdullah thanked the ambassador for her efforts during her time in the country and praised her contribution towards supporting and strengthening cooperation between Kuwait and Turkey.
He also wished her continued success in her future diplomatic assignments.
The Defence Minister later received Indian Ambassador Parvati Tripathi.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged cordial discussions and reviewed several issues of mutual interest.
They also explored ways to further strengthen cooperation between Kuwait and India, reflecting the friendly relations between the two countries.
