Sharjah Gives Owners Four Days to Reclaim Impounded Vehicles

Sharjah: Sharjah City Municipality has given owners of vehicles and equipment that have remained impounded for more than six months just four days to reclaim them, warning that unclaimed property could be sold through public auction.

The notice applies to vehicles, machinery, motorcycles and bicycles currently held by the municipality.

Owners have been instructed to visit the municipality’s Control and Inspection Department in Industrial Area 5 within four days from the notice.

They must resolve the reasons that led to the impoundment and complete all required procedures to secure the release of their property.

The municipality warned that owners who fail to complete the necessary procedures within the specified period could risk having their vehicles or equipment sold at public auction.

Affected owners have therefore been advised to act within the deadline to avoid losing their impounded property.
