Dubai Police, in partnership with Union Coop, has launched an awareness campaign to educate sports fans about safety procedures and their responsibilities inside stadiums ahead of the 2026–27 ADNOC Pro League season, which begins on August 14.
The campaign, part of the “Your Commitment is Happiness” initiative, will be displayed on Union Coop electronic screens. Fans will be informed about the requirements under Federal Law No. 8 of 2014 concerning the security of sports facilities and events, along with key safety procedures to follow while attending matches.
The campaign will also feature QR codes providing access to stadium safety guidelines and a list of prohibited items. These include glass containers, drones and other remote-controlled devices, pets, sharp objects, fireworks, flares and laser devices. Dubai Police said the initiative aims to promote responsible fan behaviour, prevent negative conduct and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
