The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched its first Visitor Experience Awards, recognising tourism organisations and frontline professionals who contribute to delivering high-quality experiences for visitors across the emirate.
More than 400 tourism and cultural organisations have been invited to participate in the inaugural awards. The initiative is designed to become an annual programme, encouraging businesses and tourism professionals to improve service standards and create memorable experiences for visitors.
Led by DCT Abu Dhabi’s Visitor Experience (VX) function, the awards feature eight categories covering tourism businesses and frontline teams. The programme forms part of Abu Dhabi’s wider efforts to strengthen its visitor economy and reinforce its position as a leading global tourism destination.
