More than 24,000 school leaders, teachers, advisers and support staff across the UAE are taking part in a nationwide training programme ahead of the 2026-27 academic year. The Ministry of Education’s Specialised Training Week will run from August 24 to 28, focusing on artificial intelligence, leadership and inclusive teaching.
The five-day programme includes more than 80 specialised programmes and hybrid workshops designed to strengthen educators’ professional skills and introduce them to modern teaching methods and technologies. The initiative aims to align the UAE’s education workforce with global developments in education.
Minister of Education Sarah Al Amiri said continuous professional development is central to modernising the country’s education system. She said the programme will support the integration of AI, encourage institutional innovation and help educators build sustainable, high-quality learning environments.
