The progress and contributions of Emirati women are part of a historic journey passed down through generations, said Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
In a message marking Emirati Women’s Day, Sheikha Bodour highlighted the strength and achievements of Emirati women and the important role they continue to play in the UAE’s development. She said this year’s theme, “Together, We Grow Stronger and Better,” carries special significance as women from each generation continue to open new opportunities for those who follow.
Sheikha Bodour said the ambitions and achievements of Emirati women are closely aligned with the UAE’s national goals. She noted that their journey remains firmly rooted in the country’s culture, traditions and values, while the vision and continued support of the UAE’s leadership have enabled women to take on leadership roles with confidence both nationally and internationally.
She also emphasized that progress becomes more meaningful when women use their achievements to empower others. Every woman who moves forward, she said, helps create opportunities for future generations.
On Emirati Women’s Day, Sheikha Bodour paid tribute to the women of her generation who contributed to building the UAE, as well as the younger generation whose efforts are shaping the country’s future.
