Parts of the UAE could see rain on Friday as convective clouds are expected to develop over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon, according to the weather forecast.
The rest of the country is expected to experience fair to partly cloudy conditions, while humidity will increase overnight and continue into Saturday morning in some western areas.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 48°C in inland areas, with highs ranging between 43°C and 48°C. Coastal and island areas are expected to record temperatures of 39°C to 45°C, while mountain areas could see temperatures between 30°C and 37°C.
Winds will generally be southeasterly to northeasterly at 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to around 35 km/h along the coast and up to 40 km/h in inland and mountainous areas. Stronger winds could raise dust and reduce visibility in exposed locations.
The sea is expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
