Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works has opened additional lanes and exits on the Fifth Ring Road to improve traffic flow and ease congestion for motorists traveling toward Salmiya.
The ministry said the slow lane and right shoulder on the Fifth Ring Road opposite the Control Tower have been opened for vehicles heading toward Salmiya.
The King Fahad Road exit has also been opened for motorists traveling from Kuwait City via the Fifth Ring Road toward Salmiya. The same exit is available to vehicles approaching from the Ahmadi direction and entering the Fifth Ring Road toward Salmiya.
The new traffic arrangements provide motorists with additional route options when traveling toward Salmiya, according to the ministry.
Authorities said the opening of the additional lanes and exit is intended to improve traffic movement and help reduce congestion along the routes connecting the Fifth Ring Road with Salmiya.
