UAE denies reports of extended remote learning until May 1, urges public to follow official updates

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have dismissed circulating social media claims that remote learning has been extended until May 1. The Ministry of Education clarified in an official statement that no such decision has been made and described the reports as baseless.

The ministry urged the public to rely only on its official communication channels for updates related to the education sector. It confirmed that classes will continue as per the current schedule and warned against spreading misinformation.

According to the latest announcement issued on March 30, distance learning remains in place for nurseries, kindergartens, and both public and private schools until April 17. The decision was taken to ensure the safety of students and teachers.

Officials added that the situation is being reviewed on a weekly basis, and any changes after April 17 will be communicated through official platforms.

Remote learning in the UAE was introduced in March following the spring break, ensuring uninterrupted education for students, including those outside the country.
