Dubai: The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast generally fair but occasionally dusty weather across the UAE, with inland temperatures expected to reach as high as 47°C despite a slight cooling trend.
According to the NCM, low clouds are likely to form over northern regions, while light to moderate south-westerly and north-westerly winds will become fresh at times, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h and causing blowing dust in some areas.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 42°C and 47°C in inland regions, 39°C and 44°C in coastal and island areas, and 32°C to 37°C in mountainous locations. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, becoming rough at times in western areas, while remaining slight in the Oman Sea.
The weather is expected to remain generally fair and dusty through midweek. Humidity levels are forecast to increase overnight and during early morning hours, raising the possibility of fog or mist formation in some coastal areas. Temperatures are likely to rise again by Friday, with humid conditions continuing into the weekend.
