ANTI-GOVERNMENT PROTESTS, CUBA CONFIRMS ONE DEATH

Cuban specialists affirmed Tuesday that one individual has passed on during exhibits that have shaken the island as of late by fighting over food deficiencies, excessive costs and other complaints against the public authority. 

The Interior Ministry said in an articulation that Diubis Laurencio Tejeda, 36, kicked the bucket Monday during a conflict among dissenters and police in the Arroyo Naranjo region on the edges of Havana. It said an undefined number of individuals were captured and there were a few group harmed, including some officials. The statement accused demonstrators of vandalizing houses, setting fires and damaging power lines. It also alleged they attacked police and civilians with knives, stones and other objects.
