Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a new scholarship program to support Emirati students pursuing higher education in fields critical to the emirate’s transport and infrastructure sectors. For the 2025–2026 academic year, 20 students have been selected to study at top UAE universities, including the American University of Sharjah, University of Dubai, and Zayed University.
The program focuses on key disciplines such as AI, robotics, civil engineering, and business analytics—areas vital to RTA’s long-term operational and strategic goals. By offering financial support and career guidance, the initiative aims to prepare graduates for roles in Dubai’s expanding transport network while advancing national Emiratization efforts.
Through this investment in education, RTA seeks to cultivate a skilled Emirati workforce capable of driving innovation in mobility and infrastructure. The program aligns with the UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based economy, ensuring local talent is equipped to meet future challenges in the transport sector.
