Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is developing a luxury VVIP terminal and private jet hangar to accommodate high-net-worth travelers and investors visiting the emirate's upcoming mega-projects. The facility, announced at the Dubai Airshow in partnership with Falcon Executive Aviation, will include a 1,500-square-meter terminal with royal and VVIP lounges, an 8,000-square-meter hangar capable of maintaining ultra-long-range aircraft, and a 9,000-square-meter apron.
Located just 15 minutes from beach resorts, the terminal will feature airside facilities including a helipad and parking for large private jets. The project emphasizes environmental sustainability, with 35% solar power and fully electric ground support equipment. Authorities aim to complete construction within fifteen months, targeting operational status by the first quarter of 2027 to support Ras Al Khaimah's growing tourism infrastructure and attract quality visitors and investors.
