NASA SHARES A PICTURE OF WILDFIRE SMOKE REACHING THE NORTH POLE FOR THE FIRST TIME

The smoke from the wildfires that are spreading across the Siberian region of Russia has shown its presence in the North pole for the first time. NASA calls this event to be the first in recorded history. The organization has also shared a satellite image of the event.

NASA reports that the smoke travelled more than 3,000 km from the location of fires to reach the Pole. The Russian state authorities monitoring the fires has issued a warning stating the situation regarding the wildfires were worsening.
