ABOUT 400 AFGHANS ARRIVED IN KUWAIT TO TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES

Kuwait City: After the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, there were scenes of people fleeing in terror and trying to flee. About 400 Afghan nationals flew to Kuwait on a Gulf flight from Afghanistan to the United States. About 400 Afghans arrived in Kuwait to travel to the United States.


They were staying at the airport hotel in Kuwait for transit. More than 300 will leave for the United States by noon and the rest by tonight, a local newspaper reported.
Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby has reportedly said that the United States will take over 30,000 immigrants from Afghanistan and issue them special immigrant visas.
