CONFLICT BETWEEN YOUTHS AT JAHRA HOSPITAL, SEVERAL SERIOISLY INJURED

Kuwait City: An altercation between the youths at a Diwani in Jahra Governorate turned violent. Many of the youths were seriously injured in the armed violence, after which an ambulance arrived and rushed the youths to the intensive care unit of Jahra Hospital. Most of the young people admitted to the hospital have stab wounds and serious injuries.


The mob chased the wounded in retaliation and unleashed another wave of violence against the youth at the hospital. The group arrived at the hospital with knives and sharp weapons, panicking patients, visitors and staff.

The chairs and equipment of the hospital were violently destroyed and then the Jahra police arrested all the youths involved in the violence and detained them at the area police station. The case was registered for further inquiries.
