Kuwait City: Police have identified the mother of a newborn baby found abandoned in Kuwait. The baby was found in a trash can in the Abdullah al - Mubarak area. An investigation by Farwaniya Governorate focused on nearby CCTV footage and found the child's mother. The 27-year-old mother said she left the child thinking she would be abused. Authorities say the baby is in good health at Farwaniya Hospital.
