MINISTRY OF HEALTH STUDYING TO REDUCE SUPPLY OF MEDICINES TO EXPATRIATES

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health is studying how to reduce the supply of medicines to expatriates to reduce costs. The recommendations of the Ministry in this regard have been put before the Cabinet. 


The ministry is also looking at alternatives for foreigners and reducing the supply of medicines to expatriates in hospitals and health centers. Sources said the health ministry will present a comprehensive plan next week to reduce spending by at least 10 per cent from the 2021-22 financial year.
