MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS WITH MONSOON EMERGENCY PREPARATIONS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Public Works has announced immediate steps to prepare for the monsoon season as the country approaches winter. The move comes during the monsoon season, which usually floods some of the major interstates between the regions. Agent M  Walid al-Ghanim aid the importance of inspecting all preparations ahead of the monsoon season, taking all necessary steps and working in coordination with other authorities is important.


He had a meeting with the ministry leadership last week. He suggested that the presence of teams of contractors and operation of tunnel pumps at critical stages should be ensured and that a team should be present at all times during the monsoon season. He pointed out that the main objective of the ministry is to protect life and property and to ensure that there are no shortcomings.
