BOOSTER DOSE WILL STRENGTHEN IMMUNITY OF VACCINE, SAYS MOH

Kuwait City: The Covid 19 Vaccination National Campaign is aimed at controlling the epidemic and protecting individuals and the community, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Abdullah al-Sanad. He also stressed the importance of taking the third dose of the vaccine. Al-Sanad reminded that the third dose is given to strengthen the immune system against the virus, to prevent it from infecting variants and to prevent it from dying even if infected with covid.


The third dose is recommended for people over 18 years of age. No need to register in advance for this. The third dose can be taken only six months after the second dose. He said some groups, including cancer patients, should take the third dose only after a medical examination.
