No change in airport procedures as a result of the finding of 'Omicron' in Kuwait.

KUWAIT CITY,  – Kuwait has recorded its first case of Omicron virus following a second PCR test on a European traveler who had arrived in Kuwait from one of the African countries.
The traveler had received two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccine and had been quarantined since his arrival in Kuwait in accordance with Ministry of Health protocol and global requirements.


The European traveler had entered Kuwait with a PCR test certificate that was negative.
Upon arrival, a PCR test was performed, and the results were negative.
According to Al Qabas, the second PCR test result was positive a few days later.
According to the sources, the European traveler had no contact with anyone, his health is stable, and his symptoms are minor.
He was placed in a quarantine facility right away.
