In the presence of the capital's Governor, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, and the Ministry of Interior's Assistant Undersecretary for Operations and Traffic Affairs, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, the General Traffic Department organised an extensive campaign in Shuwaikh, Damascus Street, and highways, which also targeted several garages that perform illegal repairs.According to Al-Anba, citing traffic sources, the officers also launched a campaign against vehicles that make annoying noises, vehicles that violate glass tinting laws, and issued citations to more than 200 vehicles for failing to meet security and durability requirements.The campaign also targeted home delivery motorcycles, issuing 80 violations for failing to follow laws governing their work.
