Only Kuwaitis by 2022

 KUWAIT CITY: According to the Al-Rai newspaper, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has stated that all government institutions must adhere to the Kuwaitization of government jobs in order to meet the deadline. According to CSC sources, the plan was approved in 2017 and government institutions and agencies were told to implement the replacement plan "without exceptions" over a five-year period (by 2022), stating that all government bodies are bound by the 'Kuwaitization' rules and procedures to address the flawed demographic structure and replace expatriates with citizens in specific jobs.


An official source at the CSC confirmed to Al-Rai that the Commission's Resolution No. 11 of 2017 on Kuwaitization of government posts in ministries and departments will be implemented without exception.
