KUWAIT CITY, : Personnel from the General Department of Drugs and Alcohol Control have taken into custody an unidentified Asian couple of the same nationality for trafficking drugs . The daily added, acting on a tip-off the department set a trap for the suspects and caught the man red-handed selling 100 grams of opium to an undercover police agent and seized from the man the marked police currency. During interrogation the securitymen discovered he has a female live-in partner and accomplice in the drug. The CID men then raided his home, and seized approximately 2 kilos of opium and also took his girlfriend in custody. They have been handed over to the concerned authorities.
