'Nazaha plays a critical role in eradicating corruption.'

KUWAIT CITY : According to Abrar Al-Hammad, Assistant Secretary-General for the Prevention Sector at the Public Authority for Anti-Corruption 'Nazaha,' the fight against corruption lies in the 'prevention' and 'penal' factors, according to Al-Jarida daily.

According to Al- Hammad, the role of the Anti-Corruption Authority is not only to protect public money, but also to protect society and the people from corruption through prevention, raising awareness, and eliminating what she refers to as the "permissive culture or a simple environment that fosters corruption."


He stated that values should be infused into school curricula and activities through the culture of education in order to raise awareness, rebuild values, respect the law, human rights, public interest, and individual control.
