KUWAIT CITY : The Ministry of Interior will launch an initiative to delete existing legitimate driving licences and replace them with new ones, which is estimated to result in the cancellation of 250,000 expat driving licences.The task force has begun its job this month, and it will take three months to complete.This is done in order to alleviate traffic congestion on Kuwaiti roadways.The total number of licences issued has surpassed 3 million, with roughly a million of these valid licences set to be replaced with new driving licences.According to Al Rai, replacing current licences will necessitate a huge number of staff to receive visitors, and the new driving licence will feature a magnetic strip.
