Free ration in January

KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT  : Free food supplies will be distributed to frontline workers – employees of the ministries of Health and Interior for both citizens, Gulf nationals, bedoun, and expatriates – between January 1 and 16, 2022, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, after 50 million dinars has been allocated to cover the costs.

According to credible sources, the Ministry of Health will issue a statement in the next two weeks naming the deserving employees who will receive the long-awaited free supplies.


According to sources, the number of employees covered by the free ration reward for six months is estimated to be around 91,000 (workers of all nationalities from the ministries of Health and Interior, as well as their eligible dependents, bringing the total number of people eligible for free ration to over 400,000).
