KUWAIT CITY : In an effort to combat Omicron spread, which has coincided with the festive occasions of Christmas and New Year, the Ministry of Interior collaborated with church authorities to maintain health protocol for expats who practice their religious faith and to avoid overcrowding in churches.

After consulting with seven church authorities in Kuwait, dates for entry and exit were established to ensure that there is no overcrowding among expat communities who attend church services.
To ensure that there is no crowding inside the churches, each church will receive 50% capacity attendance and divide the churchgoers into three dates and some into two dates.
