KUWAIT CITY – According to the Iran International website, the Head of the Iranian-Kuwaiti Joint Chamber of Commerce in Tehran, Hani Al- Faisali, Kuwait has stopped issuing visas to Iranian businesspeople.

In a recent interview, Al-Faisali revealed that the Iranians who continue to do business with Kuwait are those who live in the country.

He stated that trade relations between the two countries have deteriorated dramatically, citing the Covid-19 pandemic as one of the causes.

He added that sanctions imposed by the United States of America (USA), including banking restrictions on Tehran, are causing Iran to lose business.
