The Ministry of Health is preparing to combat the spread of omicron

KUWAIT CITY : In the event of an increase in the number of new cases of omicron variant, the Ministry of Health will take a number of measures, including stopping all non-emergency operations, opening more wards and intensive care units in hospitals, reintroducing field hospitals if necessary, and relying on video calls or what is known as "medicine" to examine patients and non emergency cases, according to Aljarida daily, citing informed health sources.

They emphasized the ministry's readiness to deal with any potential increase in cases in the coming days.
