THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH CALLS ON MEDICAL STAFF TO ADHERE TO PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Within the framework of the Ministry of Health's strict measures to combat the spread of the emerging and mutated Corona virus, the "Health" has attached a new circular to the series of circulars that come within the policy of preventing infection when dealing with Corona virus infection in Kuwait, which would reduce the chances of infection transmission in health facilities. It also adheres to the World Health Organization's most recent standards for the use of personal protective apparel.


The circular was sent to emphasise the necessity of wearing personal protective apparel correctly for all health personnel in hospitals, health clinics, and primary care facilities. 

The circular also includes specific recommendations that must be followed, as failure to do so results in the spread of infection between medical personnel and patients.

And affixed to circular tables displaying the type of personal protective apparel based on the type of medical intervention or interacting with the patient, which were distributed to health facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Health.

The circular continued by stating that the Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the country's epidemiological status on an ongoing basis, and that these recommendations will be modified as needed.
