12,000 BACHELORS ARE EVICTED FROM BNEID AL-QAR BY MUNICIPAL TEAMS

Kuwait City: Zaid Al-Enezi, the head of the Capital Governorate Municipality Branch's emergency team, said that from September 2020 to January 2022, more over 12,000 bachelors were evacuated from the Bneid Al-Qar area (an average of 750 bachelors per month and 25 bachelors per day). According to Al-Enezi, "all those who were ejected from the neighbourhood were occupying it in an unstructured manner, and exploiting real estate in contravention of the municipality's building standards."

He went on to say that the campaign that impacted the region was led by the Capital's Governor, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, and was supported by the Capital Municipality's emergency team and the Judicial Police team in the Ministry of Electricity and Water. They were targeted in several governorate areas, whether they were private or investment homes, and 220 building breaches were removed, equal to the number of evictions carried out in collaboration with their owners.
