IN KUWAIT, PAPER VISAS COME TO AN END, AND E-VISAS TAKE THEIR PLACE

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Home Affairs has introduced an e-visa service for the private sector through the firms portal on the Ministry's website, thereby ending the issuance of paper visas through the Public Authority.


The "My Business Entry Visa" e-Visa will replace the print work visa service, according to Azeel Al-Masjid, official spokesman and director of the Manpower Public Authority's Public Relations and Media Department.

The decision was made in light of the Cabinet's proposals for automating the administration of procedures and transactions in support of the e-Government concept.
